Who said that fancy art materials are needed to create great art. I'v always heard from instructors to not let your tool design you and in my opinion this article is a great example.
Who knew that a normal ball point pen is capable of making such an amazing art. This explains that it's all bout the artist and how he uses his material.
This photo is a whopping 10-ft high drawn by Juan Francisco Casas. Amazing! I love drawing but I cannot even imagine how hard would have been to draw this stunning piece which almost looks like an actually photo. One single mistake could have made this art flop down that ground but this piece almost shouts perfection, what an inspiration!! Makes me want to doodle in class more and try it out.
I have read from the article that the artist have only used 14 ball point pen in the production and that this piece has already fetched 3,750 euro. The artist had mentioned that he admired the "simplicity" of a ball point pen . The piece took about 3 weeks in completion.
Does it not want to make you draw?

I think you are right. Personally, I'm a student in architecture. So, I design. I strongly agree with you, we shouldn't let tools retrict our creativity.
