PATTERNS!! PATTERNS!! PATTERNS!!

I've always had a love for patterns and how it creates a wonderful design feeling. I have been recently using patterns more often for my designs, which is why this caught my attention, patterns of animals.

I saw this and I saw how fascinating the patterns on animals could be. Looking at these photos as national geographic channel. I was amazed and inspired because not only the patterns work together but also the colours. The colours in my opinion make a lovely colour palette for designs. So I posted this to share and maybe inspire some of you guys for your future designs. I hope you guys enjoy this

The Intelligent Designer

After reading peoples blog today, one got me thinking about appreciation of things that are there but are often ignored and taken for granted. It got me thinking; about the times (many times really) I have heard this at Church or Youth Fridays (Yes Church). We have been told that an intelligent designer has created us. Yes I believe this. If I were asked who I believe the greatest designer is, it will be God.

He would be my number one choice since God designed us from His image. People are so precisely designed that every part of our body functions properly in order to live. Though this post would be a bit controversial because not everyone shares the same belief. I am just amazed how wonderfully designed humans are and even the place we live in are wonderfully designed in order for humans to survive and live in. I have read somewhere that even if the earth 2% closer to the sun, no vegetation is possible for it cannot stand the powerful radiation coming form the sun. Even 2 % further we could freeze to death. I found this amazing for no big bang could even precisely bring us to where we are.

That is why the belief n evolution would never cross my mind for humans are too wonderfully designed to be evolved from a tiny organism or if its only possible (we would be mutants by now.) I believe that everything has a designer just like the buildings, the watch we wear and the computers we used ever single day.

Ball Point Art! Stunning!!

Who said that fancy art materials are needed to create great art. I'v always heard from instructors to not let your tool design you and in my opinion this article is a great example. 

Who knew that a normal ball point pen is capable of making such an amazing art. This explains that it's all bout the artist and how he uses his material.

This photo is a whopping 10-ft high drawn by Juan Francisco Casas. Amazing!  I love drawing but I cannot even imagine how hard would have been to draw this stunning piece which almost looks like an actually photo. One single mistake could have made this art flop down that ground but this piece almost shouts perfection, what an inspiration!! Makes me want to doodle in class more and try it out.

I have read from the article that the artist have only used 14 ball point pen in the production and that this piece has already fetched 3,750 euro. The artist had mentioned that he admired the "simplicity" of a ball point pen . The piece took about 3 weeks in completion.

Universal Toilet?

I have never really thought about how disabled people uses the washroom till I saw this article. I then realized how much effort it is fro disabled people to use a toilet and this design was a great solution. This universal toilet is made particulary for individual with disablilties. This was designed by Changduk Kim & Youngki Hong.

What I like about this is the designer not only thought of the innovation but the design of the toilet itself. The design is very classy and high class that could be seen in a high class loft or a condo. Not only it is well designed it is elegant and space efficient. Can't wait to see this toilet in the future.

Macbook Air spoof

So I was looking at my favourite website for checking out the latest news in the world and I saw this article about a Macbook air. This article shows 3 "new" Macbooks. Macbook fire, water and earth. This article in my opinion is a waste of time but I found it a tad interesting because how they have designed each piece.
